5 Days Amboseli & Masai Mara Safari takes you very close to view the Mount Kilimanjaro on the Kenya side (amboseli national park), then to lake nakuru national park well known for it numerous number of flamingos, white and black rhino.

Finally to Maasai mara game reserve, home to the big five, and where cheetah and Thomson gazelles compete in marathon for struggle of life more so the extravaganza wildlife world cup migration in the month of July through October all the year round.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:  Amboseli National Park

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National park

Early breakfast at thecamp, followed by a departure to lake Nakuru arriving in time for late lunch. Check in at the lake nakuru sopa lodge booked on full board basis.

Later in the afternoon game drive if offered to enable you one of the largest ornithological spots, flamingo’s, and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white rhino and black rhino found in this park.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your lodge then depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

Have an afternoon game drive in this famous reserve which has wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where a visitor may see animals in the same super abundance as existed a century ago.

Explore this part of the Northern Serengeti ecosystem where the great wildebeest migration takes place. The plain is literally covered with these animals. Grunts and other animal sounds are heard while territorial fights are commonplace. The migration, now declared one of the Seven New Wonders of the World, takes place from approximately the end of July to September. Soak in the abundance of untamed wilderness, fresh and natural scenery, filled with exotic wildlife during our expertly guided game drives enjoyed in open vehicles.

Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve- Nairobi

After breakfast you will depart Maasai Mara Game Reserve enjoying a morning game drive on your way back to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will enjoy dinner a Carnivore restaurant – you only pay for your tea/coffee or soft drinks. Your journey will then end at the airport in good time for your flight home. This is where your safari will end.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

This will then mark the end of our trip in maasai mara after a game viewing in the morning hence drive back to Nairobi where safari ends in the late evening.
