This 3 days gorilla ultimate experience tour takes you to Bwindi impenetrable national park, the haven for half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas. You shall get a chance to get a glimpse on how they live.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala, followed by a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

Along the journey, enjoy spectacular views of Uganda’s rolling hills, local villages, lush forests, and terraced landscapes. You will have stopovers for photography, lunch, and relaxation as you continue to the Ruhija sector of Bwindi.

Upon arrival, check in at either Ruhija Community Rest Camp or Gorilla Friends Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides before starting your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The trek through the dense rainforest may take between 2–6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat while learning about their behavior and taking photographs.

After the trekking experience and lunch, depart for Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda, famous for its scenic islands and peaceful atmosphere.

Dinner and overnight stay at Crater Bay Cottages.

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi – Transfer Back to Kampala or Entebbe.

After breakfast, enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Bunyonyi as you begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe.

Relax and enjoy the scenic countryside drive with stopovers along the way before arriving in the evening, marking the end of your memorable Uganda gorilla safari.
